August Haven adheres to the following warranty and service policies.

One-Year Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

August Haven will honor all manufacturers’ limited warranties covering defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery or pickup with the customer liable for all travel/transportation expenses to the home. August Haven makes no warranties, expressed or implied, other than those set forth herein. August Haven hereby disclaims all other warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Excludes all clearance, closeout and antique/found object merchandise.

Out of Warranty Service Policy

If a problem is reported within 15 days of pickup or delivery for merchandise purchased without a manufacturer’s warranty August Haven will waive any inspection or repair charges. After a period of 15 days the customer will be responsible for all service charges including, but not limited to, parts, labor and travel/transportation incurred in repairing the merchandise.

GBS Protection Plans*

Accidents will happen. With our GBS Protection Programs for Furniture, Lifestyle Bases, and Mattress Protectors you will benefit from:

  • Expedited claim services provided by a friendly and knowledgeable customer care specialist
  • Specialist will provide care and maintenance tips for on-the-spot assistance
  • When service is needed, professional, licensed, insured and uniformed in-home service technicians will be dispatched to repair the damage or remove a stain
  • When that’s not possible, GBS will replace the damaged item (Exclusions do apply. Please see store for more details.)

Furniture Protection Warranty

Protect All Protection Programs give you the freedom to enjoy your beautiful furniture worry-free from accidents!  When you purchase the GBS Furniture Protection Program, you have essentially guaranteed that your purchase will be protected for 3 or 5 years based on your plan’s term.  Not only will you benefit from our very own service policy and the manufacturer’s warranty, but also the coverage provided by the Protection Program.

Mattress Protector Warranty

Healthy Sleep™ protects your mattress with a waterproof backing that keeps liquids and bacteria from reaching your mattress.  Both Mattress Encasements and Protectors render your mattress 99.9% Dust Mite Free.

If you purchase a new mattress on the same ticket with the protector or encasement, the warranty is 10 years for rips, tears, stains and burns if the protector or encasement is on the mattress at the time of the accident and is a result of normal household use.  Otherwise there is a 2 year manufacturer’s product defect warranty. Note that proper laundering and care instructions must have been followed and all warranty claim steps must take place.














*Clearance, closeout and found object/antique items are not eligible for Extended Warranty Coverage offered through GBS Protection. Please see store for more details and specific protection plan terms. In cases where there may be a discrepancy between these statements and the protection plan, the protection plan will govern.
