Sourced during a recent visit to High Point Market, a curated selection of Afshar, Anatolian, Oushak, Malayer, Lilihan Persian and Hamadan Persian antique rugs were brought back home. Made of high-quality, natural fibers, these are almost always hand-knotted and never machine made. Each knot is tied individually, creating a dense, durable structure. Despite their deep-rooted origins, these rugs can work in almost any space; modern, rustic, traditional and minimalist. Each rug is meaningful, evoking a sense of place and reflecting the human hand. Their motifs and patterns are never random – they’re deeply symbolic representing strength, protection, nature, and spirituality.
