  • Origin: Egypt, late 1800s. Sourced from a French colony in Egypt, this gothic, hobnail safe would have been used to guard against fire damage. Wood construction would have most likely been made from cut timber soaked in salt water to act as a fire retardant. Unpolished. Sourced from our travels to High Point Market in North Carolina. One-of-a-kind and ready to add to your home’s unique story.
