Product Description
This is THE classic French Bistro chair. Originally introduced in 1859, it was the world’s first mass-produced item of furniture. Its predecessor would have had a seat made of woven cane “because the holes in the seat would let spilt liquid drain off the chair.” This classic was made using bent wood or “steam-bending” and was manufactured in the latter half of the 20th Century by Poland-based company, Fameg.
