FOR YOUR FALL MENU: CHARRED ORANGE HOT TODDY
Warm up from the inside out with our Charred Orange Hot Toddy—a cozy twist on a classic fall drink recipe. Smoked citrus, rich honey and soothing spices come together for the perfect fireside sip.

Charred Orange Hot Toddy
You'll Need
- 1 juicy orange
- 1-2 teaspoons honey
- 1 cinnamon stick (or 2 if you're feeling extra poetic)
- 2 oz. good whiskey (the kind that gives you a wink when you pour)
- 3/4 cup hot water
- A squeeze of lemon for balance
Directions
- Begin with fire and citrus. Slice your orange into thick rounds and place them under a broiler or directly on a grill until their edges blush dark and caramel sweet.
- In your favorite mug, drizzle in honey and drop in a cinnamon stick.
- Pour with purpose. Add hot water and stir until the honey melts away.
- Add the whiskey and stir once, gently.
- Finish with a flourish – Float a slice (or two) of your charred orange on top.
- Sip slowly, as if you have nowhere else to be but here.
